Client Policy

1. Purpose

This Client Policy outlines what customers can expect from SECURAFILM INC. and what we require from clients to ensure a smooth, safe, and professional installation experience.

2. Appointment Expectations

  1. All consultation and installation appointments will be confirmed by Securafilm Inc. in advance.

  2. Clients must provide accurate contact information for scheduling and updates.

  3. If a client needs to reschedule or cancel, we require at least 24 hours’ notice.

  4. If our technicians are delayed due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the client immediately.

3. Access to the Property

  1. Clients must ensure our team has safe and clear access to all windows to be measured or treated.

  2. Furniture, blinds, curtains, or obstacles should be moved prior to installation unless otherwise arranged.

  3. Pets should be secured to ensure safety for both the animal and the technician.

4. Cleanliness & Work Area

  1. Securafilm technicians will maintain a clean work area and perform a full clean-up after installation.

  2. Clients are responsible for maintaining a reasonably clean and accessible environment for our team to perform work safely.

​

5. Product Information

  1. Clients will receive accurate information about the film type, performance, safety rating, and installation process.

  2. If the selected film varies from the original quote, the client will be notified before installation begins.

​

6. Pricing & Payment Policy

  1. All pricing will be provided upfront and must be approved before installation.

  2. A deposit may be required to secure an installation date.

  3. Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the job unless otherwise stated in writing. Abandoned outstanding balances may be subject to additional fees, and/or credit collection actions.

  4. Payments must be made through official Securafilm Inc. channels only.

  5. No cash “side payments,” unapproved discounts, or off-record arrangements will be accepted.

7. Warranty

  1. Securafilm Inc. provides a 3-year complete warranty on the film only, covering manufacturer defects or installation-related issues.

  2. The warranty does not cover incidental damage, misuse, neglect, scratches, breakage, or impact.

  3. Clients must contact us with proof of purchase for warranty claims.

  4. Warranty work will be scheduled as soon as possible but may require a short lead time.

8. Post-Installation Care

  1. Windows should not be cleaned for at least 7 days after installation to allow the film to cure.

  2. Light haze, moisture bubbles, or cloudiness are normal during the curing process and will clear naturally.

  3. Only soft cloths and non-ammonia cleaning products should be used afterward.

  4. Securafilm Inc. is not liable for damage caused by improper cleaning or use of abrasive tools.

9. Safety Requirements

  1. Clients must maintain a safe environment during installation.

  2. Children and pets must be kept at a safe distance from tools, ladders, and equipment.

  3. If any unsafe conditions exist, Securafilm Inc. will pause service until the issue is resolved.

10. Photography & Marketing

  1. With only expressed client permission, Securafilm Inc. may take before/after photos of the installation for marketing use.

  2. Photos will never include identifying details about the client or job informations/descriptions.

​

11. Liability

  1. Securafilm Inc. is not responsible for pre-existing window damage, frame issues, faulty seals, moisture leaks, or structural problems discovered during installation.

  2. The Client will be notified immediately if technicians identify any issues that may affect film performance or safety.

​

12. Satisfaction Guarantee

  1. Our goal is to provide a clean, secure, and professional installation every time.

  2. If clients have concerns or questions, they must contact us within 24 hours of installation so we can address the issue promptly.

13. Client Responsibilities

  1. Provide accurate information during the consultation phase.

  2. Ensure full access to installation areas.

  3. Review and approve quotes before work begins.

  4. Follow all aftercare instructions.

  5. Communicate respectfully and promptly with Securafilm Inc. representatives.

14. Agreement

By approving a quote or booking with Securafilm Inc., the client acknowledges and agrees to this Client Policy.
